Bio:

Her Story:

Eve Dallas doesn't know her birthday, where she was born or even her
real first name.

What she does know is that before the age of eight, she was habitually
abused, physically and sexually, by her father. Until the night she
killed him in self-defense. She was found bloody and broken on the
streets of Dallas, Texas, with no memory of where she came from or who
she was.

After growing up in the foster system and hating it, she entered the
Police Academy and graduated top of her class. Making Lieutenant before
the age of 35, she became the top cop in NYPSD's Homicide division. Her
job was her life and she was ok with that, until she met Roarke, the man
who owns the universe. Well, most of it anyway.

Now she has a husband she can't live without, ten friends too many, an
archenemy she has to live with and a job that still commands the
majority of her time and energy.

The one thing she can't say she has anymore? Boredom.

Personality and Supporting Characters:

Eve is a hardworking, hard-ass cop with no tolerance for fuck-ups or assholes. She will work herself into a stupor if she is on a case that really gets to her and usually has to be put to bed by her husband.

Supporting Characters:

At Home
Roarke: The husband
Summerset: The nemesis that lives in her house, or Roarke's majordomo.
Galahad: Eve's cat. He saved her life in the first book, hence his name.

At Work
Captain Ryan Feeney: Eve's mentor and former partner, he now runs the Electronic Department of NYPSD(EDD). He has taken on the father figure role in Eve's life.
Detective Delia Peabody: The cop that Eve picked to be first her aide and now her partner.
Detective Ian McNab: One of Feeney's detectives. Also Peabody's co-hab partner.
Dr. Charlotte Mira: The police psychiatrist that helps with Eve's cases and with helping Eve remember what happened with her father. She has taken on the mother figure in Eve's life.
Commander Jack Whitney: Eve's superior officer.
Chief Tibble: The chief of police.
Detective David Baxter: A fellow homicide detective. He has hit on Eve on several occasion and was assigned to work the homicide case where Eve was accused of murdering another police officer. His aide is Officer Troy Trueheart.

Friends and Associates
Mavis Freestone: Eve's best friend and a well known singer.
Leonardo: Mavis' husband and father of her child. He is a well known designer that made Eve's wedding dress.
Nadine Furst: A reporter that Eve trusts. She often gives Eve information to help with the cases, to which Eve returns the favor and gives her exclusives.
Trina: The makeup artist and hairstylist that scares Eve to death.
Charles Monroe: A licensed companion that Eve met in Naked in Death and has since used on several cases and introduced to his partner, Louise Dimatto.
Dr. Louise Dimatto: The Angel of Canal Street. A very good doctor and one that Eve has used on several occasions to patch up herself and her friends. She and Charles Monroe are a couple.
Caro: Roarke's administrator.
